We are so excited about the upcoming year. This month was no exception to the exciting times that we always have around here.

We have a young gelding named Prince. Prince was the colt from our very first horse( Genesis) that was born here at the ranch.  This month one of our girls started working with him on a daily basis. He has always thought that humans were his herd and not horses. When you go out to see him in the pasture he won't leave you alone. He loves humans.

Because of this we thought that he would be easy to break and we were right. Withing about one week, Jessica has been able to ride him with a saddle. He spooked once because of a tractor but he has been taking to the job of being ridden like a pro.

We are still not finished with the basement renovations and are trusting the Lord for the finances to complete that. We are also continuing to ask the Lord for direction in regards to the provision of a property with a home so that it is not in our own personal home. For now we are confident that the Lord is blessing our efforts even with the tight economy. We must remember that we are in this world but not of it and we live in God's economy.
