Our Programs

Abundant Life Ranch™ program combines a passion for people, a love for horses, and a proven treatment curriculum with a strong Christ-centered spiritual foundation to restore young girls’ lives. The core curriculum has been developed and refined through more than fifteen (15) years of personal experience and assimilation of the most effective Christ-centered approaches available.

The goal of the Abundant Life Ranch™ program and all related ranch activities is to restore each girl to a place of total healing by teaching and modeling the abundant love of God through Christ-centered curriculum and an experiential, “Equine Partnered” learning and treatment approach.

The Abundant Life Ranch™ program has been patterned after approaches proven to achieve 90%-95% success rates and is delivered with no cost requirement to program participants. It is designed to be delivered in two tracts and takes place in both classroom style settings and daily practical life experiences with private instructors and horses.

ALR Restoration Track One™ and Track Two™ Sessions

ALR Restoration Track One™ is administered in a Day Session or a Weekend Intensive Session.
ALR Restoration Track Two™ is administered in a six (6) to twelve (12) month live-in, Ranch Home environment.

Both Track One and Track Two programs are delivered at the discretion of program directors and designed to provide program participants with daily ministry, healing and training while providing participants immediate opportunities to apply the life changing principles they learn in a safe, controlled, and loving ranch environment.

Each ALR Restoration Track contains the same program curriculum; however, ALR Restoration Track One™ is modified and delivered in a manner consistent with time and other environmental constraints.

Abundant Life Living Truths™ Core Curriculum

The curriculum is entitled Abundant Life Living Truths™ and is based on Heart Habits™ which are five areas of focus: 1. Heart Transformation, 2. Healthy Thinking Patterns, 3. Inner and Outer Beauty, 4. Christ-Centered Actions, 5. Life-long Performance based on Truth. Confronting lies and limiting beliefs in each of these areas and replacing them with the truth of God’s word is the basis of Heart Habits™

During their time at Abundant Life Ranch™, program participants become skilled at hearing, receiving, agreeing with, knowing and living “living truths” from the word of God. Progress is obtained in these areas through individual quiet time, journaling, study, prayer and group dynamics while working together, sharing, encouraging each other and participating in Abundant Life Ranch™, Equine Partnered Learning.

Abundant Life Ranch™, Equine Partnered Learning

Equine Partnered Learning is an experiential learning and treatment approach designed to reinforce and enhance the Abundant Life Ranch™ Core Curriculum. For a number of reasons, horses are uniquely suited for this type of experiential approach and ministry. In general horses ask us to accept and honor each other and possess a wonderful heart and healing presence. Furthermore, as flight animals, horses are incredibly adept at reading and responding to subtle body language and feelings.

Horses teach us about instinct and intuition as they “reflect” back to us what is going on inside of us and appear to resonate with what we are feeling. Horses live in the moment and teach us to be “mindful” and “present” at all times and help us to see the effect we have on others. We have also found that working with large and powerful animals helps girls focus their attention, improve concentration, maintain self-awareness and build self-confidence. It has been our experience that being with horses allows girls to more fully appreciate that a successful relationship with the horse, like people, is built on mutual trust and respect. The herd of horses living on Abundant Life Ranch™ is an ever evolving, integrated part of helping our teams administer healing and bring wholeness to our program participants.

Abundant Life Ranch Living Truths Conferences™

Conferences are an integral part of Abundant Life Ranch. The core curriculum is delivered in a much-different setting to an audience who for the most part, is not in crisis (as are those in Track One or Tract Two). Ultimately ALR desires to not only help young women who are in crisis, but help the masses develop habits that will prevent them from crisis. See Conferences.
