Home Director, Nanette Flynn of Kansas City, Missouri

Nanette Flynn is a former award-winning
school teacher of fourteen (14) years excelling in child training and development. Her primary focus has been curriculum development and implementation, along with helping parents and teachers build responsibility and accountability in children and themselves. To supplement her work in this area, Nannette created a children’s accountability curriculum which she has taught within school districts and at the national conference level. Nanette also serves in an operational and support role by helping build performance dance teams and owns a small business called Seams Impossible™, a company that designs and produces attire for high school through professional level dance and cheer teams.
For many years Nanette struggled with a
life-threatening eating disorder and a life threatening form of cancer, going from treatment to treatment without success until applying the principles now taught at Abundant Life Ranch™. Nanette has been fully restored and is currently a highly sought after lecturer, specializing in overcoming eating disorders and other life-inhibiting mindsets. Nanette is currently the Assistant Director of Hartbeat™ Productions which directs the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders and coordinates youth programs for the Kansas City Chiefs organization. She is currently finishing her Masters degree in counseling.
Nanette’s full-time responsibilities at Abundant Life Ranch™ generally include curriculum development, individual, group and family counseling, monthly class schedule preparation, teaching resident Bible classes and responsibility for training volunteers and counseling program participants. Additionally, Nanette monitors all program participant progress and meets personally with all incoming residents and their parents or caregivers. Nanette also conducts approves all prospective staff members and maintains general oversight of all program, ranch and ministry activities.
Ranch Director, Brian Flynn of Kansas City, Missouri
Brian Flynn grew up training horses and has extensive experience and certification in natural horsemanship. Brian’s love of horses combined with a deep passion for helping people reach their potential is a great asset to Abundant Life Ranch™. Brian spent six (6) years in the medical branch of the United States Army as a pharmacy technician and ultimately NCIOC of a pharmacy at Brook Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, TX. Upon completion of his military service, Brian served six (6) years as Fire Marshal for the city of Kansas City, MO where he developed the free smoke detector program and wrote curriculum for fire safety programs taught in public schools. Additionally Brian has six (6) years experience in fleet management and more than twenty years combined experience in commercial and residential construction. Brian is an accomplished plumber, holds a Masters License as an Electrician and currently operates his own small business, BNF Construction.
Brian’s full-time responsibilities as Ranch Director at Abundant Life Ranch™ include facilities construction, maintenance supervision, grounds upkeep, horse care and management and all horse boarding operations. Brian directs and supervises all horse related activities and oversees all ranch staff. Brian also assists in meeting with incoming residents and their parents or caregivers and provides ranch tours.
